I use Monster, Rockstar, Red Bull, and NOS to help me and I will have to say this. Though they do give you an incredible energy rush, I find that good time-management skills and healthy eating will help you do better at classes. Probably the biggest problem I have with them is this: they elevate your heart rate at an unhealthy pulse and make you constantly urinate. Even more, if you have not eaten, you will get nasty chest and stomach cramps.

I have done some research on 5 hour energy because of my health freak of a friend swears by it, yet the majority of my friends who have seen me with it, have cautioned me with horrible stories about people going to the hospital because of it. I was looking for a way to stay awake and write papers, just like the majority of students. I did not want to use Monster or Red Bull because I have heard they were super unhealthy, and I generally avoid carbination.
With my research that was done online, (does not include wiki) there is nothing harmful in 5 hour energy, it is just that it needs to go with water. It has an enormous amount of B vitamins and you need water to flush them out of your system, or you will get dizzy, black out, puke, or have very bad stomac aches. I myself have found that I need to eat something around the same time, or I will not feel good, but the most important thing about it is that YOU NEED WATER.

Great article Casey, the essence of our team was captured. Thanks for writing a positive spin on a hard loss! Also, I was just wondering if you have more pictures of the match and if so, can I have them? Thanks!
