Student space remains a prevalent concern. At this week’s meeting, a committee was formed to better address the issue. Sophomore class President Mike Terry will serve as director of the committee.

Other Business

A letter was written by Co-Director of Student Activities Andrew Rearick to address the cost of using Malone vans for transportation, which was brought up at a previous meeting. Rearick’s letter aims to open conversation about the issue and asks that the costs be re-evaluated. The letter was presented at this week’s meeting and approved by all members of Senate.

Senate’s second open forum event will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 14th in the Stewart Room. The open forum will allow students to bring their concerns directly to Senate as a whole and to be better informed of what Senate has been up to this year.

Student Senate meetings are held Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. in the Brehme Conference Center.
