Pioneer Focus: Mitch Williams

 

PEDIGREE: This week’s Pioneer Focus goes to junior long distance runner Mitch Williams for his performance  this past weekend at the All-Ohio Championships in Athens, Ohio when he finished first out of  14 competitors in the 3000-meter steeplechase, clocking in a time of  9:12.48.

Williams also hit a NCAA Division II national qualifying provisional time by nearly eight seconds, which gave him an outstanding first place ranking in the GLIAC outdoor conference standings.
