Pioneer Focus: Jarod Williams

 

Pedigree: This year’s first Pioneer Focus goes to senior cross country runner Jarod Williams for his outstanding second-place finish at the University of Akron’s Tommy Evans Invitational on September 5.

Williams crossed the 6400-meter course with a time of 20:28 and paced his squad to a first place finish among five Division I school teams.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

A:  Probably to be able to fly

Q: Something most people do not know about you?

A: Most people know everything about me

Q: Favorite aspect of cross country?

A: The team aspect

Q: Favorite pre-game music?

A: A Day to Remember

A: Twitter

Q: Who is an athlete that you look up to?

A: Drew Trusty

Q: Best and worst part of college athletics?

A: Best- The friendship developed being part of a team, and I don’t really see anything bad about college athletics.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A: Hopefully married with children and well into my work profession.
