Pedigree: This year’s first Pioneer Focus goes to senior cross country runner Jarod Williams for his outstanding second-place finish at the University of Akron’s Tommy Evans Invitational on September 5.
Williams crossed the 6400-meter course with a time of 20:28 and paced his squad to a first place finish among five Division I school teams.

A: Best- The friendship developed being part of a team, and I don’t really see anything bad about college athletics.

A: Hopefully married with children and well into my work profession.
