Slauterbeck was able to help her team garner two wins September 6 and has been an exceptional hitter for Pioneer volleyball.

Get to know the volleyball player from Huron…

Q: Favorite fast food restaurant?

A: Taco Bell!

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?

A:  If teleportation  is allowed to be a super power I would definitely choose that because I love traveling and I could go anywhere I wanted, when I wanted to!

Q: Something most people do not know about you?

A: I’m ambidextrous.

Q: Favorite aspect of volleyball?

A:  I’m an outside hitter so I’ll have to say hitting is my favorite, I love the feeling you get after a big kill and your whole team goes crazy!

Q: Favorite pre-game music?

A: Anything you can dance to!  Our team has dance parties before all of our games and it really helps to get us pumped up!

Q: Favorite YouTube video?

A: I’m not huge on YouTube but anything funny.

Q: Facebook or Twitter?

A:  Twitter!

Q: Best and worst part of college athletics?

A:  I love traveling with my team so that’s the best for me; and the worst part I would say is how big of a strain it puts on my body. I feel like crawling back to my dorm after every game and practice.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?

A: In ten years I’ll hopefully be living somewhere tropical and doing something I love!
