This week’s Pioneer Focus goes to senior golfer Nate Tarter for pacing his Pioneers to a team title among an eight-team field, at the Malone Fall Classic September 13 -14 at the Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio.
Tarter has consistently shown strong efforts this early season, being one of the top golfers for his team.

A: Golf, bonfires, watching football.
Q: Another sport you enjoy playing/watching?
A: Basketball and football.
Q: Celebrity look alike?
A: Not sure. I have been told I resemble a character on Blue Mountain State before.
Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
A: Flying, because it would be fun and could play golf a lot faster.
Q: Something most people do not know about you?
A: I have a fake tooth (implant).
Q: Favorite aspect of golf?
A: The mental grind every day to try and save a single shot.
Q: Favorite pre-game music?
A: Usually none but if any, probably Jason Mraz.

A: Anything funny or live music.

Q: Best and worst part of college athletics?
A: Best-camaraderie with teammates and competition. Worst-time crunch juggling school and sports.
