Pioneer Focus: Liz Maczuzak

 

Pedigree:This week’s Pioneer Focus goes to sophomore volleyball player Liz Maczuzak for fueling her offense with a total of 12 kills against GLIAC opponent Tiffin Univeristy on September 21.

Maczuzak helped her Pioneers post a 25-22, 19-25, 25-23, 25-23 victory against the previously undefeated Dragons, leading her team to two GLIAC victories for the season.

Maczuzak was also the Pioneers’ top hitter this past Friday, September 27 with a total of 8 kills against Grand Valley State, who is currently ranked 19th in the nation.

A:  Elasticity like Mrs. Incredible so I never have to leave my bed to get something

A: The adrenaline rush when playing an intense and close game

A: Best: Having such a close group of teammates and friends Worst: Not having enough time in the day

A: With a husband, family and a cute puppy!
