Pedigree: This week’s Pioneer Focus goes to sophomore running back Justin Davis for helping his team tally a season record of 567 yards of offense in a 55-50 victory over Lake Erie College Saturday, October 19.

Davis led the Pioneers to their first victory for the season, scoring three touchdowns during the 55-50 game. Davis has been one of the Pioneers top players for this season.

Q:What is your favorite scary movie?
A: I really don’t watch scary movies but my favorite TV show is Friday Night Lights.
Q: What was your favorite Halloween costume and at what age?
A: I would say when I was five—I was the white Power Ranger. That was my first real Halloween costume.
Q: If you could be one villain, who would you be and why?
A: I would probably be the Joker because he is a prankster and he is funny to me.
Q: Snickers or Twix?
A: Snickers
Q: Skittles or M&Ms?
A: Skittles
Q: Favorite holiday? Why?
A: Thanksgiving because that is when I see most of my family.
Q: Favorite aspect of football?
A: Making touchdowns
Q: Something about you that many people do not know?
A: I am kind of shy.
Q: Destination you would like to travel to ? Why?
A: California, because of the weather and beaches.
Q: A teammate you admire? Why?
A: I have seven teammates that I admire: Dashon Tayler, Demarco Donaldson, Isaiah Smith, Damien Russell, Darius Givens and Tim Woods. They motivate me because of the work ethic they have.
Q: Something you have learned from Pioneer Athletics?
A: I have learned to be more patient and I am still working on it.
Q: If you could switch your life with one person for a day, who would it be and why?
A:Probably Barry Sanders because he is my favorite football player. I look up to him.
Q: If you could do anything you wanted in one day, what would you do ?
A: Take my parents to Italy.
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
A: Being very successful.
