Senate Notebook is a regular news feature with the goal to keep students up to date on Student Senate. Senate meets every Wednesday at 9 p.m. in the Brehme Conference Center. Guests are welcome to attend.

Today is election day. You can vote for your favorite candidates in the Great Hall or on Malone Xpress.

There are three pairs of presidential and vice presidential running mates. They are: Andrea Maier (senior intervention specialist education major) and Jonathan Davis (senior intervention specialist education major); Rachel Jenkins (sophomore philosophy major) and Melody Sabo (senior math major); and Kenneth Lancaster (senior social work major) and Suzi Pachmayer (junior social work major).

Senate’s Stewardship Committee will be hosting an Earth Day 5K on April 18 at 9 a.m. More information can be found at

The next blood drive will be April 13 in the Johnson Center.

A printer will be available to students in the barn by April 10.

Senate addressed a student concern that adjunct professors should be monitored more closely.

There have been many student requests for a cafe or other food source in the Johnson Center.
