Number Eight Ohio Dominican clawed a 59-21 victory over the Pioneers
One of the top teams in the Nation last year showed why they are a team to reckon with again. After an entertaining contest Thursday night at Tom Benson Stadium. The Pioneers would strike first after Senior QB Will Szpor connected with true Fr. Wide Receiver Ashton Dulin for an 82 yard strike but the Panthers would regain the momentum and the game after an interception of the pioneer’s next possession. ODU would go on to score the next 45 points and not look back. SO. DB. Jordan Johnson would take a 76 yard punt return back. Malone’s longest return in school history. ODU posted 433 yards of total offence. Sr. QB for Malone Will spzor went 9-19 passing for 149 yards; 1 TD and 1 INT. SO. WR Eian Elsass caught six balls for 59 yards. SR DB Lucas Haupt had a game high eight tackles for Malone.
