The men’s cross country team and Hannah Campbell qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships after their regional performances.
The men’s team qualified by placing 4th out of 29 teams at the Midwest Regional in Evansville, Indiana. Sophomore Hannah Campbell qualified by finishing 9th as an individual along with being the top placer on a non-qualifying team. This marks her second qualification.
The national race set for Nov. 21 in Joplin, Missouri will feature the top 32 teams in the division.
Senior Ryan Roush, who led the Pioneers, said, “ We are confident going into the national meet having continued our run of second place finishes to the top team in the nation. We are confident that we have the ability to continue to sharpen up and be more rested going into the National Championships.”
